The Young Professionals Network

The Young Professional Network develops community service, professional development, and social activities to enhance the lives of its members.

The Young Professionals Network serves under the umbrella of the National Urban League Young Professional (NULYP).

There are over a dozen Urban League Young Professional chapters in cities across the country. Through these chapters, thousands of members, ages 21 to 40, work to advance the Urban League agenda through corporate, social and community activism.

Membership

Our membership runs the gamut — from entrepreneur to engineer, screenplay writer to social worker. We define "professional" as anyone who is committed to his or her career and personal development, no matter the chosen occupation.

Despite our varied backgrounds, all The Young Professional Network members do share certain traits.

We are all: young — between the ages of 21 and 40, dedicated to our communities, and committed to seeking innovative solutions to persistent societal problems.
