Economic Empowerment

Ownership, independence and access to wealth are the hope of every American, and financial education is an essential tool to make that hope a reality. The ULSC's Economic Empowerment programs are designed to empower individuals to attain economic self-sufficiency by giving them the tools and understanding to take control of their financial situation. We address the wealth gap by providing counseling and classes for low to moderate income individuals and families in the following areas:

  • Credit Counseling & Repair
  • Financial Education & Budgeting Assistance
  • Entrepreneurship & Small Business Planning
  • Minority Business Enterprise & Disadvantage Business Enterprise Assistance & Counseling

In collaboration with the AARP Foundation, ULSC announces Benefits QuickLINK, an online access tool to state, federal and private programs for low to moderate INCOME INDIVIDUALS 50+, the disabled and children.
