Customer Service Certifications

The NRF Foundation's RISE Up intermediate course – Customer Service & Sales – is perfect for your students who are interested in or currently working in a customer-facing role; whether in retail or another industry, students will master customer service and sales skills, including understanding the customer life cycle, developing effective strategies to engage customers, assessing customer needs, and closing sales. Students will also gain crucial workplace skills, including problem-solving, working in teams, reading customer body language, and increasing customer satisfaction and retention.

Retail Certification

The NRF Foundation is proud to partner with five retailers to offer interview opportunities to people who have earned RISE Up credentials.

Burlington, Macy’s, Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, and The Home Depot recognize that RISE Up credential holders have built essential skills that have prepared them for careers in retail. These companies have job openings nationwide and are committed to offering interviews to all RISE Up credential holders who meet their company’s pre-employment requirements.

Microsoft Office Suite Certification

The Microsoft Office Specialist Program provides industry-leading assessments of skills and knowledge through our new project-based testing, giving students and professionals real-world exercises to appraise their understanding of Microsoft Office.

This guarantees that every certified user has demonstrated the ability to command the full features and functionality of Microsoft Office, preparing them for future academic or workforce opportunities.

ServSafe Certification

ServSafe offers food and alcohol safety training and certification exams created by food service professionals.
